Welcome to Towers Baptist Church.

We are starting a new series Spiritual Life: Being the Body of Christ studying through the book of Luke on Sundays. We are focusing this fall on learning to be senstive to the leading of the Spirit to serve other and how God desires us to work together as the Body of Christ. When Jesus created the church, his desire was to gather a group of people in whom he could pour out the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit would lead these groups to work enjoy working together to serve each other and the community around them. His intention was to continue to live out his life and do his work through the church.

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. John 14:12

Our goal this year in small groups is to learn how Jesus gave us ways we can serve and help others through the Holy Spirit to create a caring community on mission with God. This year we are discovering together the gift that each of us has to be able to be able to give help to others so we can discover the significant purpose and mission God prepared for each person. We will be working through the study "What's so Spiritual about your Gifts?" by Henry and Mel Blackaby.
